About the Family & Social Services Administration : The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, which receives around 18 percent of the state's budget to ensure vital health care coverage to approximately 1 in 4 Hoosiers. Role Overview
This role will effectively manage the Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) state plan amendment process ensuring compliance with all IHCP programs, the Code of Federal Regulations, Indiana Code, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements. You will collaborate with FSSA and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) staff to ensure plan updates are submitted timely and track submissions to ensure compliance with CMS and state deadlines. Your role serves as the main point of contact to CMS and other federal partners, as well as the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Additionally, in this role you will assist with the OMPP Civil Rights Plan and provide assistance to the OMPP Government Affairs Manager on legislative and regulatory matters.
Salary Statement
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
