Overview

As a senior engineer in USACH Payments you will engage with product owners and developers to define and develop test automation. You will contribute to onboarding a new high-profile client and support the transformation of our payment platform into a new technology stack.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings
  • Interact with stakeholders to understand and build test plans for regression and end-to-end testing for ongoing projects
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to build test data and perform manual or automated tests to identify bugs and ensure quality
  • Document and report issues with clear information to business and development teams
  • Collaborate with business and product teams to validate software against requirements and expectations

    • Skills You'll Need

  • Exposure to banking channels (e.g., The US Federal Reserve, Fed) and banking / payment standards (NACHA)
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery, SDLC, change management, and testing methodologies (system integration, regression, performance)
  • Proven skills in solution architecture with robust and realistic resolutions
  • Ability to navigate Mainframe CICS regions and work with legacy mainframe UI; knowledge of ALM, JIRA, Confluence, and mainframe tools (JCL, COBOL, DB2, Endevor, NDM)

  • Ability to automate tasks in quality assurance testing
  • Ability to develop and execute automated scripts for test data extraction and preparation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of mainframe technologies and hands-on experience with MVS, Z / OS

    Salary

    The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may depend on factors including skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
