About the Job :
The Resource Registered Nurse oversees the operational flow of their designated unit during a specific shift. They develop staff assignments based on competency, acuity, and volume, ensuring patient safety and quality care. Acting as a role model and resource, they guide the team and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure adequate staffing and resources.
What You'll Do :
- Lead daily staffing huddles and monitor care delivery, safety, and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate patient care activities and staffing plans.
- Mentor new employees and assess staff competencies.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement councils.
- Activate the chain of command for administrative, clinical, and risk concerns.
- Deliver patient-centered care using evidence-based practices.
- Utilize technology and informatics to support decision-making and mitigate errors.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are :
Education : Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Bachelor's Degree preferred).Licensure : Current New Hampshire RN license required; specialty certification preferred within 4 years.Experience : Minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical experience in acute care or specialty area.Skills & Abilities : Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and analytical skills.
