Certifications : BLS (AHA) required

Must-Have : 1 year travel experience required or work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA

Description :

Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.

Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks.

Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).

Prepare equipment for patient treatments by performing quality control and assurance tests.

Ensure proper infection control techniques.

Adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.

All activities must reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of care.

Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff.

TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy experience are preferred.

A strict attendance policy is in place to advocate for the patient population.

Absence from a scheduled shift or lateness of more than 20 minutes three times may result in termination.

Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
