SUMMARY : Assist the surgical team to prepare operating room and patient for surgery, assist surgeon during surgery, assist with patient transfer / transport and room and equipment cleanup.

Required Education / Training : Graduate of a school of surgical technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience : Demonstrated proficiency as a surgical technician

Required Licensure / Certification / Registration : BLS Healthcare Provider

Preferred Education : Associate's Degree

Preferred Experience : Two (2) years of experience working as a surgical technician or first assist

Preferred Licensure / Certification / Registration : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
