Power your future with Qualus in our Substation Protection and Control department as a Protection & Control Engineer. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing utility substation Protection & Control (P&C) engineering packages, including drawings such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, AC / DC Elementary diagrams, circuit schedules, logic diagrams, and operating diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence.
• Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems, including diagrams, schematics, layouts, specifications, and bill of materials.
• Create SCADA packages, including input / output lists (Point Data Sheets).
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, technicians, and less experienced engineers.
• Maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Present technical solutions confidently to customers and respond to technical concerns articulately.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather or deliver engineering data.
• Perform assignments independently, with guidance from Managers or Lead Engineers on complex projects.
