Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Carle Health, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and confidence. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will provide compassionate care that addresses the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of our patients.

Your Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will :

• Administer medications and hang IV piggyback antibiotics and fluids (excluding IV push and high-risk medications).
• Communicate with providers to receive orders and coordinate patient care.
• Chart assessments and manage care plans for assigned patients.
• Perform dressing changes and trach care as needed.
• Manage NG, g-tube, and j-tube feedings and medications as prescribed.
• Care for and change ostomies.
• Reinforce education and discharge instructions for patients and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and provide hands-on nursing care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $23.90 - $39.91 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
