Business Office Manager
The Manager Business Office is responsible for overseeing campus business office operations with a focus on compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional student service. Key areas of accountability include student accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, purchasing, and campus inventory. The Manager supports company operations while maintaining professional office systems and providing personnel supervision.

Responsibilities
Ensure business office compliance with regulatory and internal policies, including accurate processing of collections, refunds, overages, and safeguarding of fundsLead student collections efforts, dedicating 60% of time to outreach and follow-up to maintain current receivables and payment plansProcess and reconcile accounts payable, invoices, aging reports, and campus expenditures accurately and timelyManage campus inventory of textbooks and supplies, including physical counts and variance resolutionAccurately process student account transactions, including credits, charges, adjustments, and exceptionsProvide excellent customer service to students regarding accounts, transcripts, diplomas, and other requestsCoordinate with Financial Aid to ensure proper handling of cancellations, refunds, and aid adjustmentsSupport adherence to accounting standards and policies in collaboration with Campus Support CenterAssist with campus facility operations as neededEstablish / maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metricsRecognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievementsOther duties as assignedQualifications
Education & Experience
HS Diploma or GED (required)Bachelor's degree in business related field (preferred)Minimum three (3) years of experience in a business office environment (required)Minimum of three (3) years of online higher education experience in a business office setting (preferred)Broad knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, inventory management, financial reporting, and / or proprietary education (preferred)Skills

Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment. Employees must also be able to adhere to site-specific safety procedures. Work environments may include exposure to student learning environments with a variety of conditions.
