Job Title : Assessment & Intake Therapist.

Location : Colorado Springs, CO.

Work Environment : Teen & Young Adult Outpatient Treatment Center.

Schedule : Full Time | Monday to Friday.

Compensation : $59,000 - $70,000 (Dependent on Licensure / Experience).

About The Role :

As an Assessment & Intake Therapist / Counselor, you will manage the intake and assessment processes for our programs. You will work closely with clients, families, and the clinical team to ensure appropriate placement and care coordination. Your role will involve conducting assessments, managing pre-authorizations, and supporting clients’ transitions into treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and coordinate client intakes for PHP, IOP, and outpatient programs.
• Collaborate with clients and families to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals and needs.
• Perform pre-authorization and concurrent reviews for insurance, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, intakes, and service plans.
• Engage with the clinical team to discuss treatment formulation and ensure a seamless onboarding process.
• Evaluate clients’ appropriateness for the program and provide follow-up for alternative placements if needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to Joint Commission, federal, and state regulations.
• Represent the organization positively in interactions with families, referral sources, and community partners. Coordinate with families to ensure alignment on treatment goals and progress.

LPCC / LPC / LSW / LCSW / MFTC / LMFT.
