Urologist-WVU Medicine East-Grow with Us

WVUHS Medical Group seeks a urologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.

Qualifications : Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. A successful candidate must have completed a urology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in urology. All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.

Martinsburg, WV,  in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia,   is a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD and is near three international airports. A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the D.C. metropolitan area, make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place to live. While Berkeley County is the fastest growing county in the state, there is little congestion and traffic. In recent years, a steady influx of urban professionals from nearby Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland have contributed to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.

The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others.
