Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OB Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Santa Barbara, CA. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and full travel accommodations.

Description :

We are seeking OB Hospitalists with a minimum of 4 shifts per month availability (up to 12 shifts per month available). Coverage is ASAP and ongoing , with 24-hour in-house shifts (times TBD).

Providers must meet the following minimum requirements :

100 deliveries performed (not assisted) in the last 24 months
25 GYN cases in the last 12 months
5 major GYN surgeries performed in the last 12 months
Board Certified preferred (will consider truly BE within 5 years of training)
Active license and DEA required
COVID vaccine required

Practice Details :

NICU Level : III

Expected Patients per Day : 2-4

Facility Average Deliveries per Month : 160 (OB Hospitalists average 25 / month)

Case Mix : OB ED, unassigned deliveries

Support : In-house Anesthesia and MFM on site

Credentialing : 60 days, expedited for clean files

Schedule :

Shifts : 24-hour in-house (TBD)

Availability : Minimum 4 shifts / month (up to 12 available)
