We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and flexible EDI and Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This dual-focus role is critical for ensuring smooth daily Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations and providing essential administrative and IT support for the office. As an manufacturer's representative agency, we receive a carbon-copy of our client's EDI data, thus the EDI role is the primary focus, but is not a full 40 hour a week position. What Youll Do :
EDI Systems & Support (Primary Focus) :
- Monitor and Manage EDI Transactions : Oversee the daily flow of all EDI transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- System Liaison and Training : Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and guidance on our internal ERP system to internal users.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide first-line support for all EDI-related issues, collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- External IT Coordination : Serve as a key liaison between our employees and our external IT firm, managing ticket escalation and communication.
- Onboarding / Offboarding IT Coordination : Coordinate IT setup for all new hires and manage the account and system shut-off process for exiting employees with the external IT agency.
Operations & Administrative Support (Secondary Focus) :
Front-Office Coverage : Cover the reception desk, greet visitors, manage incoming mail, and answer the main office phone.Office Management Assistance : Assist with various office management and administrative tasks.Operational Flexibility : Be prepared to take on various ad-hoc operations and administrative projects as needed.Who You Are :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience : Minimum of 2 years of direct EDI experience.Technical Skills : Intermediate knowledge and understanding of SQL is required.Teamwork : Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.Detail-Oriented : Exceptional attention to detail in monitoring transactions and managing administrative tasks.Flexible : Willingness to be cross-trained and adapt to other opportunities and changing priorities within the company.Job Type : Full-time, In-person in Bloomington, MN
