Job Description

We are seeking Berber (Tamazight) Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Tamazight, part of the Berber language family spoken across Morocco, Algeria, Libya, and North Africa, is a rare but critical language frequently needed for asylum and immigration proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Berber (Tamazight) English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and asylum cases.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration and legal contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality under USCIS / DHS interpreter standards.
• Support both scheduled assignments and urgent / surge interpretation requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
