This position\nwill support the East Valley Region, primarily in the Santa Clarita Imaging\nCenter. The East Valley Region is currently comprised of UCLA Health Santa\nClarita Imaging Center, UCLA Health Porter Ranch Primary & Specialty Care,\nUCLA Health North Hollywood Imaging Center and UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake\nPrimary Care. This position participates in on-call, holiday, and weekend\nschedules, prepared by the manager, that supports one of the medical centers in\nthe UCLA Health system. Additionally, participation in rotating shifts is\nrequired, as needed.

In this role, you will :

• Provide age-appropriate assessment and\n interventions in order to meet the needs of patients and families served
• Obtain, evaluate and use information from\n the patient requisition, medical records, referring physician and\n correlate with acquired images
• Use cognitive sonographic skills, to\n identify and differentiate anatomy and pathology
• Use independent judgement to produce\n diagnostic images of human anatomy utilizing diagnostic ultrasound systems\n for our referring providers and our interpreting physicians
• Extend courtesy to our patients, family\n members, visitors and co-workers through our “World Class Practices”\n Service Standards
