Overview

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Commissioning & Engineering Manager (technical antenna internal title) for Individual Site to support the Secure Power Modular Data Center Business. This position is a key player in the organization and manages the technical function for a product range or multiple technical subfunctions. It informs management of technical problems related to industrial and technological changes, and manages teams to establish procedures and best practices. The role requires broad knowledge of the functional area, optimizes user experience by usability testing and proposing design enhancements during product development, manufacturing, organizing test schedules, ensuring product quality and safety, and meeting deadlines. The CX & Engineering Manager (technical antenna) works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials to ensure efficient and effective testing units' rate. The individual must have strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and manage teams effectively, and possess excellent problem-solving capabilities, a good understanding of testing processes and equipment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The individual leads and manages the CX & Process Engineering teams to deliver an Integrated Package scope of work including Prefab Enclosures, e-Houses, skids with electrical distribution, and automation control systems.

What will you do?

  • Oversee the CX & Process & Engineering process from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet CX test lead times, goals and deadlines.
  • Manage a team of CX technicians & Tak of Engineering.
  • Schedule and coordinate Module Units tests with production activities to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve CX & Engineering Process–related problems promptly.
  • Ensure the quality of the end product meets customer expectations.
  • Monitor test equipment inventory levels and order materials as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing.
  • Maintain accurate records of CX testing reports.

  • What qualifications will make you successful?

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in Commissioning Electrical & Process Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing Tool Environment
  • Understanding of systems integration, wiring connections, control systems is a plus
  • Schneider Electric products and Electrical Enclosure integration knowledge is a plus
  • Education

  • BS degree in an Industrial Engineering / Electrical / Manufacturing discipline preferred
  • Master's degree a plus
