job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or suspicious behavior in and around the location. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management staff to address security-related concerns as they arise. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a commercial real estate location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to creating a secure environment for all occupants. This is a driving post, so you will utilize company or site vehicles to cover designated areas. In addition to patrolling, you will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with clients and visitors, and respond professionally to any security-related concerns while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
