Software Developer / L2 Support Specialist

We are a fast-growing software development company in the restaurant, hospitality and small business retail industries providing POS and business solutions. We are looking for a high-performing Software Developer to develop new product features and bug fixes based on user requirements. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who thrives in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements and develop new product features and bug fixes
  • Troubleshoot, solve, and train on difficult technical problems
  • Participate in software performance optimization and security control
  • Participate in external API communication, coordination, debugging, and development
  • Participate in hardware integration, such as printers, card readers, etc.
  • Work at least 1 day a week as L2 Support, listening to customer complaints firsthand and troubleshooting
  • Balance speed with attention to detail

Qualifications / Skills

  • Work as L1 IT Support Specialist for 9 to 12 months before transitioning to R&D department
  • Strong logical ability, able to analyze problems in detail and validate solutions
  • Very good communication and service skills, accurate, complete, timely and friendly, and willing to share knowledge with others
  • Continuous learning ability, curiosity about the industry and technology, and the ability to apply new knowledge to improve work efficiency
  • Familiar with MySQL DB and SQL statements, Linux commands and shell scripts; understanding of networks, printers and other hardware
  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or software
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English
