What You'll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Leading the daily activities of certified nursing assistants and resident care associates, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Promoting holistic care for residents by following the nursing model.
• Participating in the admission, discharge, and transfer processes for residents.
• Assessing changes in residents’ health status and communicating with physicians and families.
• Administering medications and performing wound treatments as per physician orders.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and transportation needs for residents.
• Providing direct care skills, including colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration.
• Conducting rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff are performing their duties.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Reporting incidents and ensuring adequate stock of medications and supplies.
• Initiating and updating care plans as required.
• Participating in quality assurance and infection control activities.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support our mission.
