job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage manufacturing environment. Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain control of personnel and visitor movement throughout the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage industry. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any irregularities. Document and report any unusual occurrences, security-related incidents, or violations of policy as required by Allied Universal and client procedures. Assist in managing visitor and contractor access by verifying credentials and maintaining accurate logs in accordance with site-specific requirements. Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with site personnel and / or emergency services as directed by Allied Universal protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
