Potential earnings : $1700 - $2000 or more per week.

  • Driver Positions Pay Weekly
  • Solo Miles Pay : $0.63 per mile with 1700 - 2200 miles per week
  • No Touch Stops Pay : $28.00 per stop - average 5 stops per week
  • Touch Stops Pay : $67.00 per stop - average 5 stops per week
  • Per Diem Pay : $65.00 per night with 3 - 4 nights per week
  • Paid Training
  • Schedule : Sunday night or Monday morning – Friday
  • Start Time : 7 : 00 AM dispatch

Route details :

  • Deliver solo to : 700 miles radius of Omaha, NE
  • Route : Regional
  • Tractor Type : Sleepers
  • Trailer Type : 53' Stepdeck Flatbed (6 months experience required)
  • Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
  • Freight : Touch - strapping and assembly of utility trailers

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and / or procedures

    • Responsibilities :

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by the customer
  • Performs other duties as assigned
