About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

Patient ratio experience of 1 : 4

Charge experience preferred

Charting experience in Epic preferred

Community hospital experience preferred

Trauma Level I / II experience preferred

Description :

This role involves working in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

The nurse will provide care to patients across a varied age range, including neonates to geriatrics.

Daily patient census is approximately 120 with a similar number of visits each day.

Nurses will be expected to manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses and emergencies.

Essential skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, and care for ventilated patients.

Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is necessary.

Nurses should be familiar with triage, trauma care, and neuro-trauma.

The position requires flexibility, as travel within affiliate hospitals may occur.

Weekends will be scheduled consistently throughout the contract.

Successful candidates must be prepared to work three of the five holidays each year.

All candidates must provide two supervisory references covering employment within the last three years.

Candidates are expected to adhere to any local staffing policies regarding floating and scheduling.

Communication devices will be supplied as needed for the role.

Modules and additional training will be completed as part of the onboarding process.
