NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Our beautiful, six bed NeuroRestorative facility located in Goleta, California provides residential and day program rehabilitation services for individuals who have experienced brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in‑patient treatment in a residential home‑like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post‑acute, and sub‑acute care.

Responsibilities
- Set goals on an individual basis and select specific activities and exercises to assist consumer progress, focusing on development of communication, cognitive, motor, emotional, and social skills.
- Utilize techniques such as singing, listening, instrumental music composition, creative movement, guided imagery and other appropriate methods.
- Provide written documentation of services, submit documentation in a timely fashion, and maintain a prescribed level of productivity.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times, communicating, engaging, and interacting with individuals, parents, staff, and providers.
- Make independent decisions when warranted and handle clients, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public with tact.
- Accept supervision and feedback from leadership and work harmoniously with others.
- Keep up to date on therapeutic interventions, treatments, technology, literature, practices, and regulations.
- Maintain familiarity with Medicaid and various insurance regulations related to therapy.
- Play a key role in the therapeutic team, actively participating in team meetings on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Learn and maintain a strong knowledge base of tools, audio‑visuals, and musical instruments, including safety procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy or completion of an approved Music Therapy Equivalency Program.Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT‑BC).Minimum of 6 months experience working in the area of Music Therapy.Must be at least 18 years of age, hold CPR and First Aid certifications, and have a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.Expected to complete all assigned training, including the IFSSA / DDARS waiver training module during employment.Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; good standing with car registration and insurance required.Benefits
