POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager coordinates all project phases from pre-construction meetings through final start-up. They plan, direct, and manage the project to stay on budget and schedule while communicating effectively with stakeholders to define objectives, manage changes, and solve problems. The Project Manager represents the company, fostering positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor project profitability with monthly cost projections.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate project schedule with subcontractors and superintendents.
  • Coordinate site safety plans with Safety Directors.
  • Collaborate with Estimators to convert bidding estimates into project cost codes.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier scope and pricing, negotiate terms, and write subcontracts / purchase orders.
  • Compile monthly pay applications.
  • Review, approve, and code job cost invoices.
  • Notify owners of project cost and schedule impacts, including pricing additional scope items and maintaining a change-management log.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in heavy civil and / or industrial construction.
  • Undergraduate degree in construction management or engineering.
  • Residence in or near the St. Louis, MO metro area.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software and strong leadership skills.

    • COMPENSATION

    The starting compensation range is $120,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
