Summary
This position works onsite in Wenatchee, WA.
Responsibilities
The Application Analyst II will be responsible for assigned applications and also provide backup support for the application portfolio managed by the IT Services Applications Team. The Analyst will work as a key member of the support team to build, maintain, test and train as needed to assure successful implementation and ongoing support. The Analyst will be the key subject matter expert and act as the liaison between clinic staff and the support team for assigned applications. The Analyst is the primary contact between the supported customer and IT, and will manage the relationship, escalations, communication and regular updates. The Analyst is responsible for vendor relationships, support tasks and escalations. The Analyst will work with minimal supervision on assigned projects and tasks. Essential Functions
Liaison with vendors and other IT teams. Participate in system design process, define system setup requirements and document system setup.Maintain FAQ's, Knowledge Base Articles and Help Desk specific documentation on all assigned apps.Assist in documenting current clinic flows and work with appropriate staff as needed to determine needs and modifications.Develop and utilize testing and communication plans; executes system upgrades as needed to ensure assigned applications are upgraded successfully.Work with IT staff as needed to resolve issues and address user concerns, and track and perform system change requests.Has strong technical knowledge of own area of responsibility and knowledge of interactions between systems components.Perform system imports, develop reports and complete configuration changes, and handle help desk tickets in a timely manner.Identify, recommend, create and perform user security and maintenances standards and activities.Adhere to all implementation requirements as per project plans and specifications, and adhere to all IT change control processes.Develop and utilize testing and communication plans; recommend improvements to guidance's to ensure proper testing is accomplished.Consults with clients and end users to evaluate requirements, designs strategies and prepares action plans to address issues.Ensure system changes are communicated to all stakeholders and attend regular clinic / team meetings to improve system utilization.Train individuals or groups as needed and provide system support for all identified issues and requests, including mentoring the Application Analyst I team members.Set and manage timelines related to assigned tasks, prioritize and communicate potential barriers and recommend alternate strategies. Utilize project management tools to document issues and status of assigned tasks.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Required
Education : Bachelor's degree or 3 years work experience in Healthcare IT.Have 3 plus years' experience as an application support, application analyst or a healthcare IT related position.Experience implementing or upgrading applications.Ability to attend classes / seminars and complete certification(s) as assigned; may require travel up to 2 weeks at a time.Available to work on-call rotational schedule for after-hours support including ability to come on-site as required.Desired
Experience working within an application support team. Specific applications experience may be required, depending upon position.Ability to work with all levels of staff to identify needs as well as independently and in team environments.Ability to work with clinical staff, Providers and managers to identify needs.Knowledge of health care organizations and clinic work flow.Possess strong oral, written and presentation skills as well as strong customer service, time management and prioritization skills.Physical / Sensory Demands
