Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Number of Beds – 32 private rooms Number of Staff – Type of staff : Day Shift – Typical Shift is a Charge, 7 RNs, 3 PCT’s, Unit Clerk Night Shift – Typical Shift is a Charge, 7 RNs, 3 PCT’s Patient Ratios – 5 : 1 Type of equipment – GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, GE B450 Bedside monitor EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Respiratory experience – advanced airways, oxygen management Cardiac drips – not titrated Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. ACLS / ALS List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Stress tests, Heart Cath, CABG Paracentesis, Thoracetesis, Chest Tubes Best personality Fit : Team Players!
