• Licenses : Active California medical license required
• Board : Board Certified (will consider Board Eligible)
• DEA : Required
• Certifications : BLS required
• Experience : Minimum 1 year in neurology practice
• Other Qualifications : Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient neurology coverage across UCSF Community Hospitals (float between two facilities 1 mile apart)
• Conduct daily rounds and manage admitted neurology patients
• Provide telehealth night call coverage for both facilities
• Respond to tele call and call back as needed for inpatient consults
• Collaborate with hospitalists and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
• Complete charting and documentation accurately within EMR systems
• Adhere to facility protocols and UCSF compliance standards
• Participate in potential ongoing and future neurology coverage assignments
