What your impact will be
As a central node in the supply chain function, youll :
- Own purchasing and planning of components, raw materials, and services to support manufacturing, engineering, and clinical operations
- Ensure supply continuity by managing supplier relationships, performance metrics, and risk mitigation
- Translate demand forecasts and production schedules into accurate material sourcing plans
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, contracts, discounts, and delivery terms to optimize cost, quality, and reliability
- Maintain and improve planning data and processes within ERP / MRP systems
- Partner cross-functionally (quality, regulatory, manufacturing, R&D) to align on product launches, change control, and compliance
- Monitor key metrics (inventory turns, supplier scorecards, cost variance, shortage risks) and drive continuous improvements
- Participate in supply chain initiatives e.g. new supplier development, lean practices, demand planning enhancements
What were looking for
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain in a manufacturing environmentFluency with MRP / ERP systems; familiarity with planning modules, purchase order flows, and reportingStrong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skillsResults-driven, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple prioritiesExperience dealing with dynamic, fast-paced environments, with shifting prioritiesBonus / nice-to-haves
Experience working in the medical device, biotech, or regulated manufacturing industryFamiliarity with FDA, ISO, or QMS-driven environmentsExperience using QAD or similar ERP platformsTrack record of improving supplier performance, cost savings, or process optimizationWhy this role stands out
