RF Engineering Technician

Clearance Requirement : Active Secret Clearance is required to start Travel Requirements : Up to 70% (CONUS and OCONUS) Location : Dam Neck, VA SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for an RF Engineering Technician to provide technical expertise in RF systems to support hardware identification for prototyping and systems design. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following : Assist in integration and test execution in both lab and field environments Support up to six (6) travel events during the performance period, including CONUS and OCONUS trips Produce detailed technical documentation, including performance indicators, operations manuals, and system-level training guides Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience : High School Diploma or GED Ten (10) years of full-time, hands-on professional experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and / or testing of major systems or equipment Strong proficiency in RF systems, including theory, design, and operations Proficient in Linux system administration, including drive mounting, permission management, RAID configuration, and general server architecture Demonstrated ability to develop clear and thorough technical documentation Must be able to obtain a TS / SCI clearance The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following : Employment history; Education and / or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.
