Global Head Of High Yield And Leveraged Loans
State Street Investment Management is seeking a strategic and experienced investment leader to serve as the Global Head of High Yield and Leveraged Loans within our Global Fixed Income Solutions team. This role is responsible for leading the portfolio management efforts across indexed and enhanced high yield and leveraged loan strategies, driving performance and innovation in these asset classes.
Key responsibilities include :
- Lead the investment strategy and portfolio management for indexed high yield and leveraged loan portfolios.
- Manage a team of portfolio managers focused on non-investment grade credit.
- Develop and implement enhanced investment processes that integrate fundamental, quantitative, and macroeconomic insights.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Global Fixed Income Solutions to align strategies with firm-wide objectives.
- Collaborate with the credit research analysts on issuer selection and risk management practices within the high yield and leveraged loan asset classes.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to communicate investment philosophy and performance.
Qualifications include :
15+ years of experience in high yield and / or leveraged loan portfolio management or credit research.Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or PhD) in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Track record of managing investment teams and delivering strong performance in sub-investment grade markets.Deep understanding of credit analysis, capital structures, and global credit markets.Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.Proficiency in credit modeling tools and portfolio management systems.Preferred certifications :
CFA designation is desirable.Reporting line :
This role reports directly to the Global Head of Systematic Fixed Income.Salary range :
$170,000 - $282,500 Annual
