job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location, following site-specific policies and procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with access-related questions. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures. Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and / or site management during incidents as directed. Operate and monitor security-related systems and equipment, such as access control systems, alarms, and video surveillance, as required by the site. Support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering the location, including verification of credentials and adherence to site policies. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Officer - - Auto Site Patrol - Full Time in Elizabethtown, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within an automotive manufacturing location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
