Who we are looking for
The Design / Package Engineer-Chassis will help develop and guide the development of Chassis Systems and components, including their interfaces across all vehicle systems.
What you get to do
The Design / Package Engineer-Chassis plays a critical role in leading the team responsible for engineering all parts, assemblies, and attributes to ensure interface feasibility, manufacturability, and assemble-ability of our vehicles. This role involves vehicle integration of all chassis attribute requirements at the vehicle level, leading the team to identify and resolve integration and design issues during vehicle development. The engineer will lead cross-functional integration meetings, collaborating with product development teams—including systems, components, packaging, manufacturing, and service—to set technical targets, optimize solutions throughout the vehicle lifecycle, and oversee validation processes.
This position also involves guiding Development Engineers and the organization as the product plan matures. Responsibilities include benchmarking, vehicle performance, weight management, durability and reliability, chassis / dynamics / braking development, among others, to ensure comprehensive vehicle attribute development. Department responsibilities will evolve over time.
