Primary Objective
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor-Administrative Services, the Executive Director-Construction Technology & Administrative Systems is responsible for leading the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of technology and security infrastructure for all new construction and renovation projects for CCC. This position ensures that all construction efforts align with CCC standards for wiring and cabling, while also recommending and initiating capital investment opportunities in IT and security systems. The Executive Director regularly collaborates with external architects and engineers to guide the implementation of audio-visual and security systems in new and remodeled spaces. As the primary liaison between the Office of Administrative Services (OAS) and the Office of Information Technology (OIT), the this position facilitates seamless integration of technology into facility designs and ensures alignment with CCC standards. Additionally, the Executive Director oversees the management and implementation of all technology platforms used within OAS, including those supporting security and inventory operations. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in technology infrastructure, project management, facilities planning, or another relevant field
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of management
Ability to work effectively with local government agencies, businesses, and employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven experience conducting IT infrastructure assessments and overseeing hardware and software deployment, preferable in construction or renovation contexts.
Strong knowledge of specialized security equipment, including their network infrastructure and software requirements
Ability to prioritize and manage short- and long- term construction and repair projects simultaneously, developing the scope of work and resources necessary to execute the project.
Progressively responsible experience in all facets of project management, with a strong record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Salary Range $115,542 - $150,000
Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as other factors such as internal equity.
