Our organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Industrial Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our company's continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and process improvement, with a keen eye for quality control and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

3. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.

4. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.

5. Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.

6. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer.

7. Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.

8. Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.

9. Formulate sampling procedures and designs and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

10. Manage the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and work closely with operations to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Extensive knowledge of production planning and quality control.

4. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methods.

5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling and maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

6. Excellent skills in costing, procurement, and engineering design.

7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering techniques to improve processes and solve manufacturing issues.

8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

9. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CAD and other engineering software.

10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

11. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
