Food Server Mama Mia Restaurant (Plymouth, MA)

About the role

Were looking for an attentive, fast-moving Food Server to take great care of guests at The Black Horse Tavern in Norco. Youll own the table experience from greet to goodbye : take orders, run food and drinks, answer menu questions, and handle payment with accuracy and a smile that doesnt look like youre being held hostage by a double shift.

What youll do

  • Welcome and seat guests, take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Enter orders, coordinate with kitchen / bar, run food quickly and correctly
  • Check back proactively, handle refills, specials, modifications, and comps per policy
  • Close out checks, handle cash and cards with zero drama
  • Keep sections, side-stations, and service areas clean and stocked
  • Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and opening / closing procedures

What youll bring

  • Prior serving experience preferred; well train the right person
  • Weekend and evening availability required
  • Able to stand / walk for long periods and lift up to ~25 lbs
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and Ive-got-this energy
  • Must be 18+ and meet local alcohol service requirements
