Provide for the growth and profit of Lift Power, Inc. by contacting existing and potential customers to promote new sales of material handling equipment and systems. Develop sales for specified products within the assigned territory. Handle customer concerns and complaints. Retain the ability to work on multiple primary duties at any given time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct territorial market research to identify potential industries, accounts, or individuals for sales development
- Establish and maintain a complete database for all current accounts and prospects
Enter pertinent information into CRM
Initiate direct contact with material handling equipment, dock and door, and systems usersRespond to all inquiries from users and suppliersFollow up leads, conduct interviews, and submit reports in a timely mannerPerform product demonstrations, assist customers with product application surveys and changeover needs, and manage all custom programs installed for customersParticipate in all sales or product training sessions and company meetingsPresent a professional image in personal appearance and dressCommunicate regularly with inside sales representatives and managementProduce periodic budgets, plans of action, summaries, and other necessary reportsEnhance vendor relations by supporting programs and working with their representativesOrganize proposal data for review with sales support staffSchedule communications with suppliers in advance to ensure they meet your presentation due date
Present and document all significant sales proposals in personInform each potential customer about the total depth of services provided by the companyFollow-up on proposalsDocument any changes or revisions initiated by the customer
Upon acceptance, process orders and inform the customer of project status from installation to completion, start-up and final paymentMaintain accurate opportunity recordsInform sales management of the status of each open project or recent sales proposal through active maintenance of CRMMaintain a high degree of communication about customer proposals with the sales support staffPrepare equipment operational descriptions if required for specific projectsConduct all business relationships in accordance with Lift Power's policies and proceduresSkills Required :
