Position Summary
The Staff Educator is responsible for providing and facilitating core trainings for new and existing staff. This includes developing new content, involvement in special projects, assisting with professional development for staff, and consulting on training needs throughout the organization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree required / Master’s degree preferred
- Three years of experience in behavioral health services
- Exceptional oral and written presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Proficient computer and technology skills
- Knowledge of applicable State and Federal rules and regulations
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to work within a team
- Belief in the mission, vision and values of Rosecrance
Responsibilities :
Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours as well as travel between sites and regions may be required to meet company needsCoordinate and schedule centralized trainings throughout the agencyFacilitate core / centralized training topics and sessions for all disciplinesCreate clear, relevant objectives and learning goals for all projectsUse of a variety of appropriate techniques for adult learning stylesUse of appropriate class materials and handoutsAbility to engage adult learnersReconciliation and administrative utilization of the LMSUse of instructional design software(s) to develop training contentKnowledge of curriculum structure and developmentDesign and develop training sessions / training content for a variety of delivery methods : electronic, in-person, virtual, blended, video based, etc.Development of supplemental training manuals, job aids, resources & materials, as well as associated competencies to support all disciplines and use of the electronic health recordCreate, coordinate and implement innovative and interesting training and education opportunities to enhance the competencies and skills of all disciplines.Research, review and recommend appropriate training topics, training deliver methods and training approaches based on industry standards and best practicesActive participation in committees as assignedWork closely with operations and other administrative departments to coordinate and implement trainings where necessaryDemonstrates strong customer service skills that incorporate the 5 tenets of the Rosecrance Way into daily practices and interactions with all stakeholders.Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the lawServe as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.Schedule : 8-hour shifts (hybrid schedule available after training period)

Compensation & Rewards
Base Pay : Starting at $64,688 / year ( pay is based on education, experience, and credentials )
