Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction and classroom management for students with IEPs across various settings (resource room, self-contained, inclusive).

Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students.

Implement IEP goals and accommodations with fidelity.

Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education staff, and support personnel as needed.

Record student progress and communicate any significant observations or challenges to school staff.

Follow school policies, routines, and safety protocols.

Qualifications Required :

Valid California state Teaching Credential in Special Education (Mild / Moderate or equivalent).

Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.

Ability to pass a background check and meet district-specific compliance requirements

Prior Special Education Teaching experience required
