Position Summary : The Athletic Trainer , works collaboratively with both clinical and nonclinical teams focusing on providing safe and effective care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Position Requirements

Education : Bachelor's degree in athletic training is required.

Licensure : To be licensed in the state in which services are provided, generally Nebraska & Iowa required.

Certification :

• National Certification by NATA BOC (Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Experience : 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Essential Job Functions

Respond promptly to patient inquiries and gather information to assess their condition.

Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
