Wiring Technician

As a Wiring Technician with Panatrol, you'll be at the core of wiring control panels that help keep our systems running smoothly. Based in Chicago, this position offers the opportunity to grow your electrical and controls expertise while being part of a team that thrives on precision and efficiency.

What You'll Do :

• Ensures quality levels for the design.
• Maintains a clean job site / work area : pick up all tools and equipment each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Uses a variety of tools to assist in assembling panels for the installation of key components.
• Reads schematics to assemble and install devices onto control panels and run and terminate wires according to company standards.
• Cut, tag, and run wire according to shop schematics.
• Works with typical power and control circuits including 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC.
• Wires industrial control panels per engineered schematics and layout drawings.
• Layout, measure, drill, and tap subpanels for initial assembly preparation.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.
• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Safety Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
