Location : Kearney, Nebraska 68845

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Telemetry Unit (21 beds)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour days

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Charting System : EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Experience with post-cath lab patients preferred

Ability to float to Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) and ICU / PCU as needed

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a 21-bed acute care unit

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to MSU and ICU / PCU as required

Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system

Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Work every other weekend as needed
