Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a K-12 school serving approximately 750 students, with a focus on middle school grades 6-8 in Lockport, NY. This contract role runs from August 19th through the end of the school year and requires Monday through Friday availability.

Responsibilities include conducting 75-80 evaluations annually, collaborating with educators and families, and providing psychological services to support student learning and well-being. You may also be required to attend district meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions to help develop effective intervention plans.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
• Experience with psycho-educational evaluations for K-12 students, preferably middle school aged
• Ability to manage a high volume of assessments efficiently and accurately
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Understanding of counseling strategies, academic interventions, and mental health supports
• Familiarity with IDEA and special education regulations
