Housekeeper Supervisor Full Time

Assists and supports the Manager, Environmental Services in establishing and supervising a clean, hygienic, and safe housekeeping department. Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered.

Key responsibilities include : supervising housekeepers and routinely cleaning patient's rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients; cleaning nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms and other areas as assigned; supervising linen services throughout the facility; monitoring the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention; using cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment; demonstrating service excellence at all times; and performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Education : High School Graduate or GED required

Experience : Prior EVS work experience preferred

Minimum Age : 18 years of age

Work Conditions : Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner; able to multi task with safety practices; must have basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover
