We are seeking a scheduling coordinator capable of handling a fast-paced work environment. This position requires a candidate to able to read and understand legal documents, maintain balance between provider clinic schedules and litigation events, and work in a team to overcome any challenges that may come up. Experience in processing medical records is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, excel at managing multiple events at once, and differentiate between the types of litigation events that must be scheduled. These events include but are not limited to depositions, conferences, and trial appearances.

Responsibilities :
Process subpoenas for medical recordsManage multiple calendars in real timeCommunicate with lawyers, paralegals, doctors, and providersManage billing and invoicing for the litigation departmentCompile, maintain, copy, retrieve, and track medical recordsCollaborate with law offices in scheduling depositions, teleconferences, and trial appearancesScan paper charts into the EMR systemReview and process requests for medical record informationObtain medical records from other physicians offices or hospitalsRelease records to physicians offices, attorneys, patients, and insurance companies in accordance with state and HIPAA policiesAnalyze existing processes for redundancies or limitations to propose suggestions for improvement in workflow
