As a Marketing Strategist you will be involved in all aspects of account management, from client relations to proposals and strategic planning, to execution and measuring ROI. Marketing Strategists should strive to go above and beyond, to be proactive and to constantly look for ways to strategically guide and lead our clients .
This position supports a U.S. government contract, requiring the person in this position to obtain and maintain a favorable investigation with the government. The government investigation process begins after a Conditional Offer has been accepted by the candidate.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle day-to-day management of assigned clients.
- Work closely with account service and cross-functional teams to strategize how to best meet client needs and deliver contracted deliverables on time and on budget.
- Gather and assemble background information and analysis as needed for strategic development of job proposals, quotes, creative briefs, budgets, project change requests, etc.
- Maintain client budget, scope, scope changes; maintain files on all client activity.
- Gain confidence of clients, coworkers, and vendors through reliable attention to detail and good judgment.
- Be an excellent "bridge builder," with the ability to create and build relationships both internally and with external partners; ability to balance the role of client advocate while pushing the creative envelope and defending creative rationale.
- Work under tight deadlines; quickly adapt to fast-paced situations and ever-changing environments.
- Receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
- Remain intentionally informed on the latest marketing trends.
Qualifications
Must be able to successfully undergo a government investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Four-year degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field required.Two to four years of post-collegiate agency or in-house experience in strategic development and client management.Experience with integrated marketing plans and budgets across traditional and digital marketing channels.Experience in event coordination and execution.Experience and proven success in a deadline-driven environment or an environment where a high degree of self-motivation was necessary.Excellent presentation skills. Experience delivering presentations to clients and / or prospective clients required.Proven team player with the ability to take on multiple projects and work in a deadline-driven environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and solutions-focused mindsetAbility to prioritize tasks.Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficient working on a computer with a macOS operating system.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Must be able to travel at least five times per year and navigate both MediaCross and Client facilities.Benefits
