Associate Attorney - Product Liability (Garden City)

Associate Position

Our client is a full-service law firm that has been serving clients for over 150 years. They are seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience in product liability / asbestos litigation. The position is based in its Long Island office with the ability to work in New York City.

Educational / Experience Requirements

• JD degree required with excellent academic credentials
• New York Bar Admission; New Jersey Bar Admission, a plus
• 3-5 years' asbestos litigation experience including depositions and court appearances
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Strong professional judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients
• Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and multi-task required

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 plus excellent benefits. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
