Tax Sr.

Tax Senior

Position Overview

The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing and executing tax compliance and planning services for a diverse range of clients. This role requires expertise in public accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Manage the tax compliance process and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct tax planning and research to provide strategic solutions for clients.
  • Assist in the review of tax work prepared by junior staff members.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
  • Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
  • CPA or EA certification preferred but not required.
