Responsibilities
- Supervisory / Leadership Functions : direct, coordinate, and supervise all site Security Officers; train, develop, motivate, and empower Security Officers to oversee day-to-day operations and uphold standards of efficiency, profitability, customer service, and ethics.
- Train subordinates on procedural guidelines, company policies, and operational / site-specific forms. Enforce policy and procedure consistency at the site level.
- Participate in the employee onboarding process including new hire interviewing and selection; ensure hires receive appropriate training and licensure within the designated time frame.
- Manage employee performance : appraise performance, administer rewards / incentives, coach and develop staff, and implement corrective actions with region management guidance; ensure decisions comply with policy and regulations.
- Promote positive employee relations by engaging with internal and external customers, addressing complaints, and resolving issues with regional management guidance.
- Act as primary site contact and liaise with the local office when necessary.
- Maintain records with officers assigned to the site to ensure participation with the Sunstates Security LMS and training platform when applicable.
- Operations : coordinate with the Operations Manager to establish site goals / objectives and communicate these with the customer; work toward goal achievement through action plans, site / personnel quotas, and scheduling.
- Manage administrative and operational functions to ensure accurate working schedules, posted projections, approved vacation / time-off, and proper hourly coverage; address personnel topics with management guidance.
- Manage account inspections and the inspection scorecard to ensure compliance and meet / exceed commitments.
- Produce Quality Assurance checks through eHub to ensure positive results.
- Respond to questions from security personnel and site events, or arrange qualified backup when not available.
- Foster superior customer relations / service to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of related management experience including security, law enforcement, or military is required.Demonstrated management proficiency; must have Win Team experience.Surveillance skills; ability to analyze information and inform others.Great customer service skills; reliable transportation.Experience with staffing, tracking budget expenses, reporting, and scheduling.The Account Manager is expected to work various shifts / weekends and is expected to dedicate a minimum of 40 hours per week onsite, with additional hours required when the site calls for additional needs (i.e., reports, special events, training, etc.).
