As a Security Officer in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading company in the food and beverage industry, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will monitor access to the location, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a welcoming and professional environment. Pay Rate : $17.81 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying the identity of individuals entering and / or exiting and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents that occur at the front desk.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and observations.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions, supporting a welcoming environment while maintaining security-related protocols.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
