We are seeking a Design Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 with an electrical engineering background to assist in the development, testing, and support of electronic hardware projects.
Responsibilities
As a Design Engineering Intern, you will be :
- Assisting in schematic design, circuit simulation, and PCB layout for new products
- Supporting the creation and modification of BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Testing and debugging prototypes using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
- Assisting with component selection and library management in EDA tools (Altium, KiCad, etc.)
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability) compliance
- Creating and updating design documentation, including assembly drawings, test procedures, and technical specs
- Supporting engineering change orders (ECOs) and revision control processes
- Assisting with mechanical fixture design, assembly and validation
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldFamiliarity with schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)Understanding of electronics fundamentals including analog and digital circuit designExperience with lab equipment and hands-on prototypingStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPassion for electronics and eagerness to learn in a practical, team-based settingITAR REQUIREMENTS- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident, (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.What You'll Gain
