Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment. This role requires expertise in construction accounting and familiarity with industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.

Accurately enter financial data and maintain up-to-date records.

Handle invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation with precision.

Generate AIA billing and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Utilize Viewpoint Vista software to manage financial workflows.

Support cost and project accounting tasks related to construction projects.

Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making.

Ensure all transactions align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and invoicing processes. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management.

Proficiency in data entry and financial record-keeping.

Familiarity with invoice processing and AIA billing practices.

Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles.

Hands-on experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
